High Volume Custom Production

We build a wide variety of specialty door products with an extensive list of features and options that create thousands of combinations that must quickly flow through our production line to maintain the short lead times that have become a common customer requirement. Our manufacturing operations in both Cincinnati, Ohio and Redmond, Oregon excel at scheduling, material sourcing and purchasing and high volume custom order production.

In our vertically integrated 60,000 square foot Cincinnati manufacturing facility we use plastic, steel and wood to fabricate the Chase brand solid core and sheet style traffic doors, Proline solid core and insulated traffic doors, AirGard and EconoClear flexible doors and Saino sliding fire, service and pharmaceutical doors. These four separate production lines are surrounded by full service machine shop, welding, powder coating and hinge sub-assembly support areas. Production equipment includes a CNC router, various CNC punch and stamping presses, metal and plastic shears, lathes, mills, drill presses, panel and cut-off saws, drum, disk and belt sanders, heat bar welding and fabric stitching machines, compound adhesive applicator, MIG and TIG welding equipment, paint spray booth and powder coating line. In-coming material staging at the front of each line and conveyor systems assure a smooth, directional workflow through the various assembly stations to a common packaging and shipping area.

The recently expanded 82,000 square foot Redmond manufacturing facility is focused on plastic molding, extruding and finishing of our Durulite traffic, single swing, sliding and EconoMax PVC roll goods and strip doors. Also a vertically integrated, state of the art production operation, it houses two multi arm rotational molding machines, automated polyethylene color compounding system, foaming stations and presses, a flexible PVC extruding line, CNC router, drill presses, metal and plastic shears, panel and cut-off saws, drum, disk and belt sanders, MIG and TIG welding equipment. The molding and extruding equipment feed five production lines with various assembly and finishing stations to a common packaging and shipping dock area.

Because we utilize such a wide variety of plastic, wood and metal materials and process such a high number of features and options for our base traffic door product models, our scheduling and purchasing groups have to orchestrate the on time delivery of a large number of SKU’s, or component parts. Our engineered to order Saino sliding fire, service and pharmaceutical products also require many specialized components and materials that, in many cases require expediting to coordinate with tight production schedules. Production team members are seasoned, experienced craftspeople who are cross trained to move from product to product based on customer order demand. Customer service is the liaison with all groups for any changes required by the customer during the manufacturing process.

Our manufacturing expertise is not based on the variety of equipment available in our facilities, but from the interaction between our experienced scheduling, purchasing, production and customer service people who allow us to effectively respond with quality products and short lead times.
